ABSTRACT
Hookworm-related cutaneous larva migrans (HrCLM) is a parasitic skin disease caused by nematodes of animals (dogs and cats), such as
Ancylostoma braziliense and
Ancylostoma caninum. HrCLM is present in many subtropical and tropical countries, where its prevalence may be up to 4% in low-income population. In this article, we present the case of a 43-year-old female patient with HrCLM, and we briefly review the topic.
