ABSTRACT
One of the most common challenges that families are sitting in front is definitely the time when parents of older stage become fragile and dependent due to an illness that requires attention and care. The conditions that cause mental impairment, physical or constant pain as in the case of chronic disease, are more difficult to carry on, a problem that requires appropriate responses. The children of aging parents often are what will take care of this demand for care and maintenance, that moment of life often face disparate demands of parenting thier own children and econónimicas pressures, making the problem even more complex, but possible while the opportunity to explore new forms of intervention. The following article aims to present the view from the family systems with elderly inside and their relationship with the care and quality of life of them.
