ABSTRACT
The target of this research was to analyze the possible relationship between constructive thinking, adaptation and anxiety in a sample of college students. The Questionnaire Constructive Thinking for College Students (CPCE) was applied to 364 students five UNAM´s multidisciplinary fields, of which 207, in addition responding to the questionnaire answered CPCE Bell, meanwhile 157 responding to the Inventory of situations and anxiety responses inventory (Tobal & Cano). Correlation analyzes performed between constructive thinking and adaptation, as shown expected associations towards more constructive thinking that better adaptation. The relationship between anxiety and constructive thinking shows that higher constructive thinking less anxiety in their three modalities: cognitive, physiological and motor. We conclude that good constructive thinkers achieve better adaptation levels and low levels of anxiety.
