ABSTRACT
Golf- one of America’s all-time favorite sports- is becoming more popular all over the world, and it can be played no matter age, gender, or physical skills. In golf it is possible to move every muscle of the body, and like any other sport, can lead to a number of injuries, and among them, to low back pain. The 2 main sources of low back pain in golf is for over-training and a poor technique at the moment of swing to hit the ball. Swing movement bring about a number of different forces, named compression, shearing, torsion, and lateral bending, in a simultaneous or sequential manner, and eventually originate injuries mainly in the intervertebral lumbar discs, as well as the facets joints of the lumbar vertebral bodies, and as a result they become herniated lumbar disc or a degenerative disc disease.
