Satisfaction with service and maxillofacial rehabilitation treatment

ABSTRACT
Introduction. Restoration of facial defects is a challenge for specialists in dental prostheses. Successful facial prosthetic rehabilitation is given by the patient satisfaction, which represents the subjective experience resulting from compliance or noncompliance with the same expectations. Their satisfaction may be the indicator key of quality care. In literature it easier to find studies on the patient satisfaction with the conditions of the institution than the results of the treatment.
Methods. Through a transversal and retrospective study at Rehabilitation Service Face and Maxillofacial Prosthetics CIMEQ, a procedure to evaluate the satisfaction with the service and the results of Rehabilitation Service Face and Maxillofacial Prosthetics CIMEQ, treatment was carried out taking into account the main variables affecting satisfaction.
Results. We found that 95.14% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the service received.
Conclusion. They were satisfied with the results of prosthetic rehabilitation treatment.
