Main surgical complications of renal transplant in the Medical Surgical Research Center

ABSTRACT

Introductions. The renal transplant is a frequent indication in the treatment of the end renal disease. In spite of the big progress in this field and exhibit good outcomes, they still show up surgical complications. Methods. In the present investigation, these complications were studied seen in 326 kidney transplants performed in the Medical Surgical Research Center in a 28 year-old period. Results. Surgical complications were seen in sixty patients. Of these, the most frequent were the vascular ones (thirty five), followed by the urologic (fourteen). Conclusions. In the present study the incidence of complication was lower than the international report.
