ABSTRACT
Allergy to cow’s milk is the most common food allergy in infants and young children. Once diagnosis is established, treatment consists of elimination of cow milk’s protein from the diet. It is easy to say but hard to do. In this paper we describe a simple classification and management algorithm of CMA, a brief about what it is an elimination diet y nutrition facts about which food may be sources of vitamins and minerals instead of milk. This has shown to be practical for pediatric patients at Allergy Department of the National Institute of Pediatrics.REFERENCES
