ABSTRACT
This brief review aims to describe in a specific and practical manner, a proposal for the basic knowledge necessary
in prescribing the big amount of drugs that constitute the group of Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs),
thereby forming a scientific basis for a better use, professional prescription and above all, offer the greatest possible
safety for those who consume and prescribe them, and even more in the case of children in whom their enzyme systems,
especially the liver enzymes, are totally different from the adult.
