Splenic histoplasmosis manifested as fever of unknown origin

ABSTRACT
It is presented the case of a 44-year old woman with predominantly evening and nocturnal febrile symptoms accompanied by chills, profuse diaphoresis and generalized arthralgias. This paper describes the case and presents a brief review of differential diagnosis.
