ABSTRACT
The dermatosis neglecta (dn) is a rare condition, of unknown
etiology that affects anyone. It characterized by warty, hyperpigmentated
and seborrheic plates. The main risk factor is
poor hygiene, which results of sebum, sweat, corneocytes and
keratin accumulation. Friction diagnostic-therapeutic maneuver
with soap or alcohol is essential for dermatosis identification.
Recognition of this dermatosis leads early diagnosis and avoid
unnecessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
