ABSTRACT
The appearance of herpes zoster (HZ) in a child without a history
of varicella is rare, and it may happen when the mother has
had the disease during pregnancy. Noncontiguous multidermatomal
HZ is exceptional in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised
person. We report a 17-months-old-healthy
boy, he presents herpes multiplex unilateralis with noncontiguous
dermatomes. His mother had varicella during pregnancy (third
trimester).
