ABSTRACT
Introduction: It is a necessity to train professionals and technicians interested in Occupational Safety and Health and in the challenges of a new systemic and holistic paradigm. Development: A practical exercise (workshop) was carried out starting from the Work Assessment Model in which seven workplaces were studied. Through the instruments that were offered in the theoretical exchanges, the students developed the study of the workplace using the Helsinki Method (it was modified by Almirall et al. in 2004) and the effects by applying the SSE, SFP and the EER. Results and comments: The Work Assessment Model and the development of the Cognitive Ergonomics were carried out by the students in a final presentation, which despite the fact that it was a teaching exercise, it surprised about two of the studied workplaces, and it also characterized the others both in the prevailing conditions and in the effects. Outcomes were very well accepted by the companies.REFERENCES
