ABSTRACT
In order to the identification of risk factors of risks in self-employed workers, it was necessary to have an instrument validated in Cuba, to evaluate the occupational health and safety conditions in this group of workers exposed to chemical substances of the Arroyo Naranjo municipality of Havana, in 2015. The elaborated instrument had 5 dimensions: general data, referred symptoms, toxic habits, characteristic of the job and risk factors. To approve the content, it was selected 5 experts, which carried out contributions based on the pertinent of the dimensions and the items, and the quality of the redaction. The pertinence was valued in a range from 1 to 5 and then the grade of agreement was compared among experts. The evaluation showed a high consent among judges in the dimensions: referred symptoms, characteristic of the task and factors of risks, with a half superior value at 4,50; but not the dimensions: general data and toxic habits, that showed great variability in the answers. In the dimension characteristic of the job, coincidence was achieved among 80–100 % in the first five variables, being recommended that the rest of the variables were evaluated in the observation guide. Finally they took suggestions as for the writing of the questions and substitution of some medical terms for better understanding, being the instrument conformed.REFERENCES
