El profesional de enfermería en el seguimiento a la adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the pursuit to the antiretroviral treatment is an edge from the attention to the VIH/SIDA patient´s that have a complete boarding and in the one that the professional of Infirmary during coherent and flexible acting should achieve attitudes that improve high indexes of therapeutic adherence, this category is little approached, for what becomes necessary an analysis that values her focuses from relating in the international and Cuban context.Objective: to investigate on the acting of Infirmary professional in the context from the pursuit to the adherence to the antiretroviral treatment, when considering their relationship with the current conditions of the practice of the Cuban Infirmary.
Methods: was carried out analysis of content of documents that included original articles and of published revision of 1999 at the 2015 with the following words key, acting, professional, infirmary, therapeutic adherence, antiretroviral in SciELO, Dialnet and elsevier, was identified and they revised 20 articles of those that were useful 11, as well as monographs of several magazines that it allowed the logical historical analysis of the evolution of the category.
Conclusions: the inquiry on the professional acting of infirmary in the pursuit to the antiretroviral treatment allowed to define this category operationally, they are few the authors that approach it, nevertheless the problems that the professionals of Infirmary challenge in the Cuban context, condition the necessity to promote improvements in its performance.
