ABSTRACT
Van Wyk-Grumbach syndrome was first described in 1960 and its frequency is unknown; it is characterized by hypothyroidism, delayed bone age and precocious puberty of the same sex, with reversion to a prepuberal state after replacement therapy of the thyroid hormone. We report the case of a patient with acquired hypothyroidism, ovarian hyperandrogenism.
