ABSTRACT
ThePonseti technique
application for club foot
problems is world wide known.
We analize the impact of this
technique in children with club
foot in Costa Rica, in the only
Nacional Hospital of reference,
taking the year 2013 for the
study having 2 years of evolution
those cases at least.This study
demostrated the incidence
of club foot was 1,36/1000
newborns .The application of
this technique garrantees hight
success rates if the patologhy
is treated from short to middle
term. Also the study shows how
usefull the technique is specially
in children with myelodysplasia
and cerebral palsy (CP).
