ABSTRACT
The babysitter’s elbow is a frequent consultation entity in the primary care that covers pediatric population; therefore, it is essential for physicians and for the rest of the health care personnel to handle the current concepts on the mechanisms of injury and pathology in order to properly recognize, by means of an accurate diagnosis based on clinical history, clinical presentation and physical examination, the existence of an injury of subluxation of the radial head by sliding the annular ligament, with the purpose of timely implementing the proper reduction techniques and to assess its evolution, avoiding the use of x-ray to prevent exposing this type of patients to radiation unnecessarily.REFERENCES
