ABSTRACT

Keratosis lichenoides chronica is a rare keratinization disease with characteristic findings: linear or reticulated keratotic papules symmetrically arranged in extremities and joints; seborrheic dermatitis-like lesions with facial involvement may be seen. Histopathology shows findings between atrophy and acanthosis, focal parakeratosis with follicular occlusion and hydropic vacuolar basal degeneration. Dermal lymphohistiocytic and plasma cell inflammatory infiltrates are present. We consider this entity to be a «transitional» entity between other dermatosis such as lichen, psoriasis or NEVIL. We report a case with extensive clinical findings.
