ABSTRACT
Sodium imbalances are
frequently observed
in medical practice,
particularly in hospitalized
patients. Hypernatremia,
although less frequent than
hyponatremia, is related to
higher morbimortality and the
knowledge of pathophysiology
and correct treatment are
fundamental.
