ABSTRACT
Autoimmune Hepatitis is a chronic condition of uknown origin, characterized by inflammation of the liver,
hypergammaglobulinemia and autoantibodies.(2) The diagnosis of autoimmune hepatitis remains challenging since its clinical presentation can be subclinical or may present as fulminant hepatitis. The treatment is the
immunosuppressive therapy. Like in all other chronic
diseases it is difficult to know which drug schedule and for how long needs to be applied.
