ABSTRACT
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a rare drug-induced skin disorder. It is characterized by the rapid onset of disseminated sterile nonfollicular pustules, that are accompanied by fever and marked neutrophilia. The correct diagnosis of this disease is challenging due to its similarity with pustular psoriasis of Von Zumbusch. This disease will have a favorable prognosis when the causative drug is withdrawn. In this article we present a case of a 48 year old female with AGEP associated to Dicloxacillin, and we did a brief review of the literature.
