ABSTRACT
Glomus tumor is an uncommon benign neoplasia originating from the glomus body or arteriovenous anastomoses located in the deep dermis, whose function is to regulate body temperature. Most of the times it presents as a solitary tumor, even though multiple forms exist; these are called «glomangiomas» and can be acquired or congenital.
