ABSTRACT
The development of Information and Communications Technologies takes boom nowadays. The use of these technologies is a challenge for management processes in all areas .The Cuban National Health System has many achievements in this regard. These technologies provide collaborative work platforms, which facilitate teamwork and decision making. Hence the importance of using them in the direction of Health system. The aim of this paper is to describe the importance and advantages of collaborative work platforms in the formation of executives of the Cuban National Health System to build leadership skills through them. It was used the documentary analysis and revision of materials for framing the use and development of these technologies in the branch of health in Cuba. The principal concepts were based theoretically on the topic and how to approach them in the executives’ professional growth. It was concluded that: the modern management techniques require new management methods that facilitate the performance of the executives. The advantages provided by information and communication technologies and their virtual environments for teaching and learning favor a paradigm shift in the field of health management .To design training strategies on the tools of collaborative work supports the development of skills and a better performance in the executives, bringing greater efficiency and effectiveness of their work.REFERENCES
