ABSTRACT
Acute limb ischemia (ALI) is defined as a sudden decrease in an extremity´s perfusion which can compromise its viability, and it is associated to high morbidity and mortality. The most frequent cause of ALI is thrombosis. Symptoms wi ll depend on evolution, location and collateral circulation. The clinical categories of ALI are used in order to guide treatment decisions.REFERENCES
