ABSTRACT
We reported a case of cervical radiculopathy in a 43-year-old female patient with a history of long evolution of cervical pain for more than 23 years, getting better with analgesics and anti-inflammatory; she presents cervicalgia with pain irradiation to the shoulder, arm, forearm hand and anterothoracic region; accompanied by cramps in both hands fingers in which radiographic studies showed the presence of 8 cervical vertebrae with compression of the 7th and 8th cervical vertebra ever known by the patient. The cervical pain is a common complaint in primary health care services. The objective is to demonstrate the usefulness and importance of a proper anamnesis followed by a proper physical examination of the neck and Radiographic investigation, it is necessary to identify the cause of each patient in order to apply an appropriate treatment for the cause of the problem and not just treat the symptoms it produces, and to prevent the injury from worsening.REFERENCES
