ABSTRACT
Introduction: the illness of Behçet is a systemic vasculitys that is characterized clinically by the presence of you ulcerate oral and/or genital which cause great decrease of the perception of the quality of the patients' life that you/they suffer it together to the rest of the clinical manifestations.Objective: to know the epidemic clinical behavior of the illness of Behçet in our means.
Methodology: i study retrospective, descriptive of a series of 4 cases that completed with the diagnostic approaches for the Behçet's disease. The clinical histories were revised and the collection of the information was made by means of a model made for the study, which allowed describing the variable sociodemographic later on, clinical and of laboratory found in these patients.
Results: the age average was of 51.25 ± 4 years and of premiere of the 46.25 year-old illness. 75 % corresponded to the feminine sex and they presented a comorbidity and/or habit noxious associate at least. 100% of the total of the sample presented to the premiere of the illness general symptoms, oral ulcers, genital ulcers and affectation of the system osteomioarticular. The ocular dysfunctions were more frequently evidenced in the course of the illness. 100 % of the patients presented alterations of the reactants of sharp phase. 100 % of the same ones take treatment with Colchicina and steroids, while 75 % uses the methotrexate like modifier pharmacy of the illness.
Conclusions: a similar behavior was presented to that described in the literature except in the age of premiere of the illness, which was superior. The appearance of general symptoms, oral and genital ulcers, as well as the presence of affectation of the system osteomioarticular was the manifestations that bigger incidence had in the premiere of the illness. The ocular manifestations are more frequent in the illness course than in the premiere of the same one. The alteration of the reactants of the sharp phase as well as the leucopenia was the most characteristic laboratory discoveries. The colchicina, the steroids and the methotrexate are the medications more used in the treatment of the illness.
