Social status of the development of a group of young alcoholics

ABSTRACT
Introduction: the social environment development explains how the main psychological acquisitions happen and develop and personality formations according to the age of each young alcoholics studied.Objective: characterize the social situation of the development of young alcoholics in Havana attending rehabilitation therapy in January 2013.
Methods: a descriptive case series study was conducted. A qualitative research methodology is adopted. Psychodiagnostic techniques were applied to 20 young subjects in January 2013. Results were expressed in absolute and relative frequencies.
Results: these young subjects express feelings of motivation towards this study and work, but they prefer informal activities. In the communication system, an authoritarian style of adults, family conflicts and difficulties in relationships with friends and/or love partner it is observed. Among the psychological formations, motifs oriented towards health and family are present. Self-assessment covers psychological and moral qualities; ideals are concretized and worldview is crossed by their own worldview derived from the rehabilitation process.
Conclusion: studying this category in this type of patients offers a psychological explanation of this disease genesis and the psychological formations that boost the behavior of these young subjects. Factors related with their socio-cultural environment, the structure and vulnerability of the patient's personality, their cognitive appraisals, emotional states and inter-family relations are involved in such process.
