ABSTRACT
Cutaneous metastasis occurs in less than 10% of patients with
visceral or hematopoietic malignancies. Breast and lung cancer
spread to skin more frequently in women and men respectively.
Among the different clinical morphology, chronic multiple subcutaneous
nodules are the most common form. The characteristic
morphology and topography can guide the clinical dermatologist
to identify the primary tumor when this is unknown.
The recognition of this lesions is important because in certain
cases, cutaneous metastasis could be the only sign of metastatic
and progressive malignancy with a poor prognosis.
