ABSTRACT

An 88-year old male patient, with hypertension and hypothyroidism with meningoencephalitis and bacteremia due to Haemophilus parainfluenzae in which bilateral hearing loss happens as a consequence.The frequency in which Haemophilus parainfluenzae causes meningitis and hearing impairment is reviewed in this case report.
