ABSTRACT
Since 1950 multiple modifications have been made for the single anastomosis gastric bypass (SAGB). In 1997, Robert Rutledge describes the mini gastric bypass that consist in the creation of a gastric reservoir parallel to the lesser curvature and performed with a single anastomosis. In 2004 Carbajo and García-Caballero describes an antireflux technique defined as «BAGUA». The aim of this article is to inform a simplified (to our knowledge), surgical technique to describe a different gastric pouch between the second and third vascular arcade in the lesser gastric curve and performing a lateral single anastomosis 200 cm length from the Treitz ligament. The modification of this procedure has comparable outcomes and seems to be effective as previously described techniques in weight loss and comorbidities resolution with shorter surgical time.REFERENCES
