ABSTRACT
Sarcoidosis is a granulomatous disease of unknown etiology whose cutaneous manifestations may be the first sign of the disease. Due to the polymorphism of the cutaneous lesions, it is known for mimicking other diseases, thus, representing an important diagnostic challenge. Histopathologically, it is characterized by epithelioid, noncaseating granulomas. In our case, there was only an extensive cutaneous manifestation, without involvement of other organs, with a characteristic histopathology. The choice of treatment with hydroxychloroquine was based on the extent of the lesions and the cosmetic appearance of the patient.
