ABSTRACT
Objective: To explore the lifestyles of University students of both sexes who sought medical attention in the regional unit
Center of the University of Sonora in Hermosillo, during May of 2014 to 2015 may.
Material and Methods: Descriptive, observational and transversal study of the mentioned campus students. You were
invited to all the students who sought medical care, regardless of the reason, to participate in the study, prior informed
consent. We used an instrument with five lifestyle variables: 1) physical activity and exercise, 2) recreation or leisure time, 3)
behaviors of risk - consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs - 4) power and 5) sexual activity.
Results: We identified three risk factors in our study population: sedentary lifestyle, abusive consumption of alcohol and
sexual risk behavior. We did not observe evidence of statistically significant in terms of eating habits.
