ABSTRACT
Osteosarcoma is the second most common primary tumor of bone after myeloma and represents approximately 20% of primary bone malignancies. The most common age of presentation is between 10 and 25 years but, combined with other processes, there is another peak of incidence after age 40; the evidences show that teens with a taller than average have an increased risk of developing the disease. Clinical manifestations occur with increased soft tissue, mild and intermittent pain that evolves constant and severe, and inability to fly. A woman of 47 years is presented who presented fever, increase in left lower limb soft and moderate pain and inability to walk. Diagnosis was suspected as osteosarcoma, which was confirmed by histopathology by bone biopsy.
