ABSTRACT

The preparation and upgrading of the human resources is among the essential functions of the Ministry of Public Health, it takes place in the different formation scenarios of the Medicine professionals; the Master´s course in Public Health provides a wide scientific and investigative culture and advanced knowledge in the corresponding areas to the graduates who work in this branch, in connection with the necessities of the economic, social and cultural progress of the territory. The present article tries to communicate the experiences and to share reflections on the eight previous editions of this master´s course in the Medicine Faculty of Villa Clara University of Medical Sciences, where its impact is evidenced in the central region of the country and how the teaching staff guarantees the sustainability of its successful development due to its vast experience in the methodological, scientific and administrative work.
