Ductal adenocarcinoma of the parotid

ABSTRACT
Ductal carcinoma of the salivary glands is a very rare tumor that primarily affects the parotid gland. It is characterized by its locoregional and metastatic aggressiveness and by its poor prognosis. We report the case of a 68-year-old man with right parotid tumor and with a final diagnosis of salivary ductal adenocarcinoma. We review the specific characteristics
of this tumor, the treatment options and the clinical evolution.
