ABSTRACT
Fahr’s disease was described by Karl Theodor Fahr, in 1930, as idiopathic or hereditary calcifications of the basal nuclei associated with both neurological and psychiatric abnormalities. We present the case of a patient with secundary calcifications in basal nuclei identified by means of image studies.
