ABSTRACT
Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis caused by deposits
of monosodium urate in synovial fluid and other tissues. The
classic cutaneous manifestations of this disease are tophi, aggregates
uric acid that appear as yellowish papules or subcutaneous
nodules that may have unusual locations. This is the
case report of a 38 year-old male presenting with papules and
subcutaneous nodules that formed large and indurated plaques
in the posterior aspect of both thighs and body.
