ABSTRACT

The Limberg flap has proven useful to cover skin defects on face and other body parts after resection of different types of skin lesions. To prepare the flap must determine the number of layers must be replaced, and the area of skin that will cover the defect; likewise, you should always take care of the function and aesthetics of the region. Adequate knowledge of the mechanisms of rotation and sliding of the skin tissues to indicate the use of this flap and the realization of it is necessary. The flap should move easily and should avoid tension on the sutures.
