ABSTRACT
There are different tests for coagulation monitoring in the perioperative; however, the thrombelastography (TEG) and rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) have shown many advantages over standard tests to assess clotting in the different phases of this, its easy use, rapid attainment also allow establish a specific treatment.
