ABSTRACT
Initial management of the
trauma patient is extremely
difficult in the emergency
services, because requires quick
decisions based almost only
in clinical data. The US FAST
can detect the presence of free
fluid in the chest and abdomen,
making it a valuable tool for
therapeutic decision making.
