ABSTRACT
A seventy-one years-old diabetic and hypertensive male patient with generalized
pruritus, probably of uremic etiology, as a result of a rapid deterioration of renal
function was presented. After changing the treatment, with improvement in
glomerular filtration rate and blood urea levels, clinical signs disappeared and the
patient remains asymptomatic.
