ABSTRACT
The supraglottic devices created and developed in different periods of time are in all of the guidelines of difficult airway although they are not a replacement of endotraqueal intubation. The airway management in critical patients can be very often difficult, and very risky in some situations. A severe cervical trauma’s patient with a difficult airway is presented, where the use of the supraglottic airway device (laryngeal mask), was very useful in the airway protection during an emergency situation.REFERENCES
