ABSTRACT
Nasal tip reconstruction is a challenging task owing to the special anatomical and cosmetic features, as well as the large individual variability this area exhibits. The use of double hatchet flap and pinch linear advancement flap in several patients having medium-size central nasal tip defects is described in this paper. Double hatchet flap involves two small hatchets outlined at either side of the defect, as the pinch linear advancement flap is a modified advancement flap with two tabs drawn at the tip of the flap, which lead the length of the flap to be shorter. Despite these not widely used flaps are completely different, both share mechanical, design and management requirements, having proven excellent cosmetic results for nasal tip reconstruction.REFERENCES
