ABSTRACT
Sweat gland carcinoma is a rare neoplastic disease. We report two cases of papulonodular axillary lesions, with a first diagnosis of metastases of carcinoma. Later, the clinical approach, the absence of other primitive neoplasms and new histopathologic studies established the existence of a sweat gland neoplasm. Our cases share pathologic features with the “apocrine carcinomas with signet ring cells and histiocytoid features”, term proposed in order to describe tumors which are easily confused with mamary cancer and other metastasic carcinomas.
