ABSTRACT
We report a clinical case in a 67 years old man with a long standing mild to moderate psoriasis. Lately he developed tense bullae and erosions on most psoriatic lesions. No mucosal lesions were seen. Biopsy and direct immunofluorescence supported the diagnosis of bullous pemphigoid and we started treatment with methotrexate (7.5 mg/wk p.o.) combined with prednisone (30 mg/d). Four weeks later, he showed a marked clinical response for both skin diseases. This association is well known but infrequent.
