Acute Generalized Exanthematic Pustulosis: A Report of Two Cases

ABSTRACT

Amicrobian pustulosis is referred to a group of entities with several sterile pustules, with a sudden onset and a rapid and selflimited resolution, simmetrically distributed in face and groins, usually related to drug intake or viral infection. We report two cases of acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis in two patients without personal or family history of psoriasis. The lesions appeared with a sudden onset after drugs intake. The eruption resolved rapidly and spontaneously within a few days, with no repercusion on general patient´s status, nor recurrence. Histologically, parafollicular pustules were seen, with lymphocytic perivasculitis on superficial dermis. Microbiologic culture was negative for pathogenic germens.
