Oral health promotion with children from a daycare and a primary school

ABSTRACT
Health promotion and disease prevention represented the greatest potentials to keep an oral and general health; from that point, it is possible to draw up strategies, like the educative programs, which are considered powerful instruments to change the living conditions that determine health status, these strategies favor the learning of hygienic and sanitary habits in preschool and schoolaged children in order to obtain satisfactory results in adult community in the future. For that reason, a research in a daycare and a primary school from Santa Clara City was carried out from 2010 to 2011, with the purpose of identifying the information level related with oral health of all children belonging to both institutions.REFERENCES
