Behavior of the morbimortality in intensive municipal areas, 2011-2012

ABSTRACT
Introduction: With the purpose of elevating the resolving power in all the municipalities of the country in institutions of attention, the intensive municipal areas were created in the year 2004. They constitute a guarantee of early opportune attention and of quality to the serious patients, during the initial attention and the first hours. Objective: Comparing the indicators of activity and quality more important of the intensive municipal areas. Method: retrospective, descriptive study, of transverse cut, for which the model 241-PR-13-01 was revised of nine months of the years 2010 and 2011 of the National Direction of Statistical of the Ministry of Public Health. Results: they were assisted 5541, they were admitted 4583 and they were remitted 3876 patients more than in the year 2011. The general survival was of the 96% in both periods, The mortality for acute heart attack and cerebrovascular illness had the same behavior in both periods. The mortality for trauma rose in relation to the same period of the previous year. The percentage of thombosed patients was of 47%, superior to the obtained in same period of the 2011. The percentage of thombosed patients who died rose in relation to the previous year in the analyzed period.Conclusions: Deeper studies are required in order to determine the causes that influence in the high mortality for trauma and in the thombosed patients, as well as the disparity of the exhibited results among the provinces and support the indication of carrying out thrombolysis to all the patients suffering from heart attack with criterion.
