ABSTRACT
Primary calcinosis cutis is a rare affection, in which the calcium deposits are located at deep dermis and/or
in fat tissues. To corroborate the diagnosis one needs to carry out studies that include an endocrinologic
evaluation. We report a female patient with primary calcinosis cutis, whose treatment is based on a serial
of surgical excision; also, a brief review is done.
