ABSTRACT
The stomach is the most
frequent site of extranodal
lymphoma. Gastric lymphoma
MALT (mucosa associated
lymphoid tissue) is when a
proliferation of B cells exist
in the gastric glands with the
association of groups called
“lymphoepitelials”. MALT is
tipically a low grade, B-cell
neoplasia and has a direct
relationship with the infection
of
H. pylori. the clinical
presentation is poorly specific,
symptoms ranging from vague
dyspepsia to alarm symptoms.
The first line treatment is the
triple antibiotic therapy for
eradication of
H. pylori, with a overall 5-year survival ranging
from 75% to 90%.
